In June 2012, TYRESE did a FREE concert at CityWalk Universal Studios doing his hits "Sweet Lady" and "Lately" as well as songs from his most recent album Open Invitation

This next artist is still under the radar in America, JESSIE J from the UK and very popular there.  She's on The Voice UK and performed at Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee celebration....She has performed on Saturday Night Live and she made her Los Angeles concert debut at the Roxy Theater in April 2012 with Jason Derulo and The Wanted in the audience.... 

This is the song that first brought her to my attention....

And there were also throwback concerts:  the legendary SMOKEY ROBINSON performed at the Hollywood Bowl in July 2012.  Two sets and one included the orchestra.  He did all the Motown classics and more.

And right here in the I.E., I finally got to see PATTI LABELE and THE POINTER SISTERS opened for her.  Great show at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino...
