Our heart and prayers go out to the family, friends and fans of Mexican regional music artist and reality TV  star, Jenni Rivera. And to her publicist, lawyer, makeup artist and the flight crew aboard the plane, total of 7 persons have not survived the crash in Nuevo Leon state of Mexico.

Rivera and others boarded the plane at approximately 3am this morning after a concert and the plane apparently went off the airport radar about 10 minutes later.  After the plane did not arrive at it's destination in Toluca just outside Mexico City, the search began at sunrise. The plane crash was found Sunday afternoon.   

The 43 year old mother and grandmother, Jenni Rivera, has performed in the I.E. many times and was born and raised in Long Beach.  She appeared in the movie Filly Brown and had her own reality TV shows including "I Love Jenni" and "Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis and Raq-C" and her daughter's "Chiquis 'n Control."

Her legend will live on!  Rest in Peace Jenni....
