The song "Lights" by Ellie Goulding is a big hit for 99.1 KGGI right now with you requesting it.  But actually that song is title of her debut album which was released in 2010 in the UK where she is from.  Some things take time to catch on here in the U.S.  But now that "Lights" is getting lots of airplay, the song is included on the Ellie's second album, Halcyon, which came out 10/9/12. 

To promote the new album Ellie Goulding was on Ellen Degeneres, Conan and did an In-Store performance and signing for a capacity crowd at Amoeba Record Store on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood.  The event took place Wednesday, October 17th.
