An IE native (Upland HS -'87; Cal State San Bernardino -'92), I've been on the MORNING SHOW since May, 2000. How's that for consistency? In fact, I've been paired with my co-host Evelyn Erives for 9 years! BTW, John in Colton, you owe me $10 for putting EVELYN and PAIR in the same sentence. Growing up, I also listened to 99.1 KGGI, and I remember Deaner and Daniels, "The Breakfast Club" on the Mornings...so doing the show is a dream come true.

And here's my baby boy, Jax - a black lab/boxer mix who was left to die near the Santa Ana River. My wife and I adopted him from the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley weeks after Caltrans workers found him wrapped in a blanket.

He's 5, and he's a strapping 85 pounds! A far cry from the 16-pounds when we first brought him home (below)

1990 - my BFF Eric and I honor our then-favorite beverage, JOLT COLA, which would get us through college - me at Cal State San Bernardino, and he at UC San Diego.

Some of you may be asking, "Where's Evelyn in that photo?" I'm thinking the then 8-year-old was hanging with her parents.

DUMBASS of the YEAR?

**UPDATE**

Penelope Soto - the 18-year-old who infamously flipped off a judge Monday (after getting mocked for saying she "had significant jewelry, like Rick Ross") was back in the Miami-Dade County Courtoom earlier this morning.

And it appears she wasn't on drugs today.

Compare her well-behaved appearance to her manic Monday outburst . . .

Call me weird, but I miss the spunky Penelope from Monday!

And her hair was ROCKIN! Today, she looks dull and plain - or, what you'd expect from an 18-year-old who just got slammed by a judge and most of America.
