Chris Brown's new music video for "Don't Think They Know" features old footage of Aaliyah singing and dancing. The video starts off with the statistic that "every two hours in America, a child dies from a gunshot wound," and has Breezy dancing, crooning and uniting rival L.A. gangs. It's a good video.
Besides using old school footage of Aaliyah -- sort of as a background dancer -- the video has been sparking buzz for featuring a Drake lookalike. Perhaps it's a stab at their noted rivalry and the fact that Drake has been co-producing an Aaliyah album using unfinished tracks from before Aaliyah's untimely passing.
Do you think Chris really intended this video to be a jab at Drake?
Meanwhile, Drake opened up to GQ magazine about his fued with Chris Brown.
“I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don’t," he said of Brown, a musician who's far less of a stranger to conflict.
"It's embarrassing, the amount of media coverage. Two rappers fighting over the woman. He’s not even a rapper, but still, it’s the last way you want your name out there," he confessed.
"If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly," Drake told the mag. [Yahoo]
