Scam artists hoping to cash in on Monday's terror attack have already swarmed Twitter and Facebook with fake charities, trying to draw dollars and page hits from the sympathetic. Several, including a page called Hope for Boston, show pictures of young children running, claiming they were victims of the attack. Meanwhile, Domains.com reports that roughly 125 sketchy Boston-themed domain names popped up within hours of the terror attack. Another twisted tactic: changing titles of YouTube videos to include the word "Boston" in an effort to draw more hits.
Dirty, right? I can't even imagine how her parents are feeling right now. Did you fall for any of the scams out there?
