Every family has a different tradition, but one thing most families have in common are the power of Santa’s Elves.  My family has the tradition of “The Elves Elite”.  It’s a special “elite” branch of Santa’s Elves who are dispatched when we hang the last ornament on the tree.  They watch over our home until Christmas Eve and then they fly back to the North Pole to report back on the behavior of our family to Santa Claus.  My oldest daughter has spotted her Elf once or twice, but knew better than to touch him because he could lose his Christmas magic.  Many families have adopted this newer branch of Elves called “The Elf on the Shelf”.  Families can adopt an “Elf on the Shelf” at an adoption location near you.  Your Elf will be in hibernation mode until you name him or her.  The way I understand it, your Elf flies back to the North Pole every night and is back, possibly in a different spot than you last saw him, before you wake up!

What branch of Santa’s Elves visits your home every year?  Do you have a special “secret tradition” that I have never heard about?  Do tell!!  I LOVE Christmas Magic!!
