As some of you may know, after three kids and years of yo-yo dieting, I'm currently on week three of a 12 week plan/lifestyle change to lose weight and keep it off FOR GOOD.  The latter is clearly the hardest part, but I'm determined to make this work.
Funny thing is, I decided to make this change during the time of the year I generally put on my "winter coat".  THE HOLIDAYS!  The time of year when there are loads of baked goods and holiday treats at every turn.  The time of year when it's socially acceptable to over eat!  Crazy me. Anyway, as I was thinking about what I was allowed to eat for Thanksgiving dinner, I ran across a few low-carb recipes I thought I would  could try to make to make me feel like I wasn't really missing out or messing up my diet plan (The Lindora Plan, specifically).

You probably already know that turkey is virtually carbless, so there's no need to worry about that dish.  Just keep in mind the portion you serve yourself.

What about those yummy mashed potatoes?!  You can't be expected to give those up, right?  WRONG!  Luckily there is a great solution that some of my good friends have raved to me about and I am DEFINITELY going to try.
