A new cycle of 6 sessions will be beginning 04/16/14 at 5:30 PM. We have a new curriculum called Parenting the Love and Logical Way.
Parents will learn how to:
•Avoid un-winnable power-struggles and arguments
•Stay calm when their kids do incredibly upsetting things
•Set enforceable limits
•Avoid enabling and begin empowering
•Help their kids learn from mistakes rather than repeating them
•Raise kids who are family members rather than dictators
•And much more!
Our NEW Curriculum is for Training Parents with Children of all Ages. Please distribute these flyers to anyone that you can. This class can consist of parents in the community who do not have a child open in a Medi-Cal program and will be served thru SAP or can be parents of clients with open cases. This targets parents with school aged children.
Reminder: We have the children’s engagement group for school aged children at the same time to help children improve social skills. If you have any question please contact Sonya Graham.
