It is official Disneyland will be expanding its theme park. It got the final approval to rezone much of the property. So this doesn’t mean the actual Disneyland land as you know it is getting bigger, it means property that Disney already owns where there is parking will become a new land. And then they will build a different parking garage that will accommodate more parking for guests. Disney intends to open $2 billion to develop the property in the next decade. And they still haven’t specified what new land will be coming but the possibilities are endless.
This Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. the Ontario Museum of History and Art will be presenting Culture Fest: Block Party. This is a free event that happens every year and celebrates the different cultural experiences that exist within our community. This year It will highlight the ChicanX diaspora. Some disturbing news, a Chino Hills woman learned that a camera disguised as a rock had been planted outside of her home. It was actually her neighbor who found it. The neighbor noticed this weird looking lump of leaves and then noticed the camera wrapped in clay to make it look like a rock. The neighbor was then able to download an image from it to find out it hand been placed back in April. Cops are investigating and other neighbors were able to pull up their own footage to see someone ride up on a scooter to bury the device. Even though it’s not confirmed why the camera was placed authorities believed it could have been planted by people planning on burglarizing homes.
