We had a listener who called by the name of Delilah Navarro, who is creating a community service project for parents who have long hospital stays with their kids. Deliah was dianosed with leukemia in 2021 and when her mom would stay at the hospital with her, essential items were always forgotten like pillows, toothpaste or whatever. When this happened the hospital would often not have any extras for parents. SO Delilah’s goal is be able to help families by providing these items. The project is called Hugs froM Lily, which is named after a friend who meant in the hospital who unfortunately passed away.
