Over the weekend the Padres and Dodgers played in a three game series. Padres took Friday night's game and then, Saturday benches cleared between both teams after Dodgers pitcher Stone threw a ball inside to Profar. It became a whole thing and Will Smith even called Profar irrelevant after the Dodgers won. And on Sunday the Padres would go on to win the series with a base clearing double from Profar. Overall it was a weekend of good baseball between the two teams.
It was a big weekend for the Corona High School baseball team. They travel to North Carolina for the National High School Invitational and they brought home the trophy. Congrats to them and they are also undefeated in the Big VIII league, and one game ahead of centennial in the league standings and they’ll face them three times this week back here in town.
Health officials are warning everyone of a dangerous mosquito species found here in California, known as the Yellow Fever Mosquito. Which usually bite several times and are active during the day and can transmit, zika, yellow fever, and other viruses. The mosquitos are small, black and have distinctive white stripes on their legs.
