About Geoff Gorham

Geoff Gorham Is a former high school All-American basketball player out of Riverside California.  He played Div.1 basketball and continued his playing career overseas in New Zealand, Australia and the Netherlands, as well as being a standout player in the NBA Summer Pro-League here in Southern California.  Gorham has shared the hardwood with several NBA players during his career including, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Jason Kidd and Michael Jordan.

Geoff then pursued a career in coaching.  During his coaching career, he has worked closely with Steve Fisher of SDSU, Riverside Community College and for over 20 years as a high school coach in the Inland Empire.

Gorham then had the opportunity to enter the media world by chance.  He started as a frequent guest on Pep Fernandez’s ‘Inland Sports Show’ and it evolved into a co-hosting position which he has shared with Pep over the past two years.  Because of his local popularity, Geoff, became the color analyst for the ‘Riverside TV Football Game of the Week’, which he continues today.  That success led to being a part of the UC Riverside Men’s Basketball broadcasts as the Color Commentator for the Highlanders.  He and Pep Fernandez once again joined forces, as Pep joined Geoff on the broadcasts this season for UC Riverside Men’s Basketball.

Geoff has made many friends in the Inland Empire over the years.  His Father, John, was a high School basketball coach in the community for over 50 years and his family has deep roots in the community.  Geoff is often called, “The Mayor” in social circles, because of his popularity and love for local sports.  He is a family man, with three sons and wife, Karla, who is a local college Professor.
