J. Cole is celebrating the fifth anniversary of his mixtape, "The Warm Up," by announcing the dates for his second "Dollar and a Dream" tour.
On the tape's fifth anniversary Sunday, the rapper revealed that the tour will kick off on July 3rd in London. He'll then head back to the states for shows in New York, Miami, Raleigh and Chicago. The trek will wrap up in Los Angeles on July 23rd. During the road trip, Cole will perform The Warm Up.
Tickets to the shows will cost fans only one-dollar. However, the venues won't be announced until the day of the shows and tickets are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.
J. Cole also penned a letter to fans thanking them for their continued support. Five years after The Warm Up's release, Cole says he "couldn't be more proud its impact."
Apart from being "a declaration of dedication to greatness," Cole explains that the mixtape was told from the perspective of a young man who "wants more than what his city has to offer him." After looking back on his place in life during the mixtape's making, J. Cole shifts his focus to fans, telling them to never "stop dreaming."
